Decree no. 2007-628 of 27 April 2007:

The decree stipulates that the sales description must be completed by:

• An indication of the animal species (not required for AOC or PGI designations),
• An indication of the fat content per 100 grams of finished product.

Information relating to treatments applied to milk or cream, must be visibly and legibly displayed as follows:

• with raw milk,
• with pasteurised milk,
• with thermised milk,
• with microfiltered milk,
• with microfiltered milk and raw whole milk X% minimum.
